.  I am very happy to the fact that production will remain in Australia. They have been famous in Australia for their high quality boots and distinctive market target for country style fashion.

The Bolshoi Ballet.

Went yesterday to see the Bolshoi Ballet, which is visiting Brisbane and we were lucky to see the production of "The Bright Streem" only seen in Brisbane. It was trully a fantastic performance not only by the stunning Ballet dancers but the Queensland Orchestra was just magnificent!.  My daughter and I did enjoy every little bit of it. It was just stunning, no wonder the are a well recognized worldwide Ballet institution. Bravo!!! Bravo!! just Magnificent!

Latest styles in boots.

Winter is here and with it winter fashion.  I love this latest boot styles from Midas.  Their styles are fantastic and great quality.  I just came from Italy and Midas styles are the closes to what is in fashion in Florence.  My fabourity is the Caruse style (above)which for my delight is on sale now.

My new adventure

Hi, it has been such a long time since my last post.  Lots of things have happened since then, I went with my family for a trip to Italy which we truly enjoyed. While walking the street of Rome and Florence I enjoyed how the small boutiques offer something different and unique and that is what makes shopping so enjoyable.  While in Australia we can pass shop after shop looking to the same mass production fashion or housewares, it is  possibly one of the reason why vintage shops are growing so fast In Australia.  People is looking for something different, something that make a statement about them. I personally love the eclectic look where I buy items that have a history and look great in contrast with something new. So being my passion  I decided to open my online boutique shop where I hope many of you readers can find your own unique piece be either fashion or for your home. 

Gardening sale!!

Today I past Hawkin's nursery and they had 60% off for some items.  I love going there because they have such a beautiful garden display and a nice caffe.  I manage to get hold of some Hydrangeas and agapanthus, I think they will look great in the garden and they are low maintenence.  Here is a picture of how they look.

Veggie Garden design

In between all the projects for my home one comes on top of the list, that is the veggie patch. It seems like it is the best time to plant in south east Queensland as the weather is not too cold. One veggie patch that I love is the one in the movie “It’s complicated” ...I am seriously thinking to copy it, it is just perfect. Here are some pictures to share.

For those who love French food and those who love blogging...well this is a movie to watch. What is best is that is based on two true stories and I can relate so much to Julie when I write to this blog...I have exactly the same question "Is anyone there???..Someone?however Julie is right about something blogging does give a purpose at the end of each day, a place to self express, a place to escape the everyday routine and write about the things that you love. You never know where blogging can get you; maybe just like Julie it can help you to achieve a dream.
